The saying, “Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned” can now be related to the virtual world. Next time you ninja loot (nerds who steal in games), or gank a noob (kill someone weaker than you) in a video game, make sure it isn’t a pissed off woman.

Ok, I think I’ve been sexist enough so far. In Sapporo, Japan a woman has been arrested for murdering her virtual husband. The game where the acts took place is called MapleStory. You can get virtually married, but I’m foggy on the benefits of it.

Anyway, the woman logged onto her MapleStory account one day to find that her husband had divorced her. She was so upset that she hacked into his account and virtually killed him.

Afterwards, she was arrested on charges of illegally accessing a computer and manipulating data. She faces up to five years in prison with a $5,000 fine.
