Oh why did this have to happen in Green Bay. Let’s hope the bad mojo from this story doesn’t roll over to my beloved Packers.

So we’re all aware of identity theft. Checking the bank account twice a day has become standard in making sure someone hasn’t bought a new massaging recliner with your account number. Even as aware as we all are now, I don’t think anyone saw this coming.

Wendy Brown, 33 was charged with identity theft, which isn’t a rare occurrence. What does make this story great, is that the identity she stole was her own daughters’, who is 15. So what could a 15 year old have that a 33 year old woman would want? A chance to tackle high school, and become a cheerleader like she wanted to when she went through high school her first time. Duh.

I’m not lying, her daughter at the time was living with her grandmother in Nevada. This move gave Wendy Brown a perfect opportunity to seize the moment and enroll in a local Green Bay high school as her daughter. What’s even crazier than her attempt at this is that it took over a week for the school to discover the ruse.

Hurricanes, train wrecks, mothers posing as daughters to fulfill some cheerleader fantasy. It’s been one heck of a week, and shows our world is heading for disaster.
