Bigfoot Corpse Turns Out To Be A Suit
Well, the whole Bigfoot mania can no be officially put to bed (thank GOD). The supposed ‘real’ looking pictures of Bigfoot turned out to be a rubber gorilla costume. This news story got so big there was going to be a legitimate press conference held in California over the finding. Turns out it was just two jackasses from Georgia that got paid a lot of money to provide the evidence.
What’s probably the funniest aspect of this, is that there actual tests run on the fake body. Details of the “autopsy” talk about burning the hair, and then they exposed the head to check for cranial damage. It seems to me that even a 2nd grader could look at a rubber suit and tell you that its fake. What kind of scientists would actually need to run tests on this to determine if its real or not?
The two who are responsible for the hoax are Matt Whitton, and Rick Dyer. Whitton is a police officer who had just been put on medical leave. Rick Dyer is a former corrections officer. Both of them claim on their voicemail that they’re expert monster chasers. Making claims that they’ve been in the hunt of leprechauns and the Lochness monster. Whitton is more than likely going to be fired, as the Clayton County Sheriff has been quoted ,”"Once he perpetrated a fraud, that goes into his credibility and integrity…He has violated the duty of a police officer”
What’s the most sad aspect of this whole situation is how wrapped up people got over this. I mean they were going to have a press conference over this. The networks who provide us our news on the presidential campaign, and the war in Iraq were going to be there covering a Bigfoot hoax. It just goes to show you how gullible people can actually be. I’d like to know the amount of t-shirts that went into manufacturing over this. “Bigfoot Found” and “He’s Real” shirts have probably all been sold in the thousands.
